CMC SHOW, Orpheum Theatre ; Saturday, 1 November 2003

Families ruled at the California Market Center’s presentation, as groupings of OC wannabes, punk sisters, carpool moms with their little ones and hip couples took to the catwalk to strut their seasonal stuff.

Held at the historic Orpheum Theatre, and preceded by a well-attended cocktail party, show organizers highlighted key market trends, which were organized neatly into thematic segments including mod, 80’s flashback, ethereal, vintage and streetwear. This was an easy primer for buyers commencing market week appointments.

Unlike last season, the show began promptly even after allowing ample time for guests to mingle, meet CMC staff and nosh on goodies from the ample buffet.
