Holding the record for a legendary 3” rise and signature stretch denims, Daniella Clarke designs for an archetypal Pilates body with a rocker-chic social life. No wonder starlets like Lisa Rinna and pop-singer Anastacia took notes from the front row. After a seemingly endless drum roll the show began, and once again the hippy chick designer did not disappoint. Sheer peasant tops paired well with dark rinse cross-weave jeans; caftans accompanied heavily whiskered railroad denims and handkerchief hems defined most dresses. A standout vintage pink motocross jacket interpreted seasonal trends beautifully, and was viewed enthusiastically by Nordstrom buyers in the audience. Showing deft treatment of the current color-block phenomenon, Daniella offered up a punchy series of baby-whale stretch cord separates with contrast piped insets and eye-catching polkadot linings.
