Here is an example of a Fashion Widget.  This particular widget is a method for website owners (fashion blogs, fashion websites  fashion employment sites, etc.) to put fashion jobs onto their own website.  This widget contains job listings from the Clothing Industry Jobs website (another site owned by the Apparel Search Company).  The Clothing Industry Jobs widget is for fashion website developers to place fashion career opportunities on their websites. Fashion blogs, fashion portals, and other fashion websites are welcome to use this fashion job widget.

If you want to add the fashion widget to the left onto your website, you can cut and paste the following code into your website editor.

If you want to add this fashion news widget to your MySpace account, you can use the following code and place it in your profile.

Note: you can change the height and width of the news box by updating that section of the code (it is a bit hard to find, but you will find in the code above "width" and "height".  Just change the numbers after those words to change the size...  Sorry, we do not provide any more support in this regard.  You are on you own...  If you can not figure out the method, just do not use the widget.

If you are familiar with using RSS, you can use the following page to get RSS News feeds from the Fashion Newspaper site..

If you are interested in fashion job RSS feeds, you can find options at the Clothing Industry Jobs website.

What is a Widget:
In computer programming, a widget (or control) is an interface element that a computer user interacts with, such as a window or a text box. Widgets are sometimes qualified as virtual to distinguish them from their physical counterparts, e.g. virtual buttons that can be clicked with a mouse cursor, vs. physical buttons that can be pressed with a finger. Widgets are often packaged together in widget toolkits. Programmers use widgets to build graphical user interfaces (GUIs).  This definition has been obtained under the GNU Free Documentation License.  Definition from  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Widget
