Lands' End's licensing division today announces that it has entered into a three-year agreement with the National Hockey League (NHL) to produce an exclusive line of high quality, affordably priced apparel featuring NHL logos.

Dubbed the National Hockey League Collection, the line is a result of numerous requests from Lands' End's customers for NHL apparel. It is the third product introduction of the Classic Fan Collection -- Lands' End's sports licensing program -- joining the Major League Baseball collection that launched in June and the Alumni collection, which launched in September 2001.

"We're thrilled to team up with an organization like the NHL," said John Maher, Lands' End licensing director. "This agreement adds another offering to our already successful licensing business and helps to further raise Lands' End's profile in the licensed apparel marketplace."

NHL Group Vice President, Consumer Products Marketing, Brian Jennings said, "This is a great strategic match, coupling Lands' End's world class product and service with the power and strength of the NHL brand. The partnership should prove extremely beneficial for both of us."

Many of Lands' End's best selling men's, women's and kid's products, including mesh polo shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, outerwear, oxford-cloth dress shirts, denim shirts and turtlenecks are available with embroidered logos from all of the 30 NHL Clubs. Customers also may choose from a selection of All-Star Game, Stanley Cup, and Zamboni logos. The collection is available through the Lands' End catalog, 800.356.4444, and website, http://www.landsend.com/
