Gottschalks Inc. (NYSE: GOT) announced November 2001 sales of $72.7 million, an increase of 5.6% from $68.8 million in November 2000. Same store sales for the month increased by 8.6% from the prior year. For the year-to-date period, total sales increased 14.5% to $542.2 million from $473.8 million for the same period last year. Year-to-date same store sales increased by 1.5%.
