A contingent of exclusive Turkish menswear designers organized by Turkey's leading textile and apparel coalition, the Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters' Associations (ITKIB), will present their collections at The Collective, an upscale apparel trade show taking place in New York, January 26-28, 2003 at The Show Piers on 55th Street at 12th Avenue. "The exhibition of these prestigious design companies in the U.S. confirms our continued commitment to bring the best of design, highest standard for quality and innovative ideas from Turkey to the American marketplace," says Nuri Artok, ITKIB chairman for ready-to-wear.

These distinctive design companies will showcase a range of looks from classic shirtings and suits to cutting edge sportswear featuring the hottest trends and sleekest designs for the season. The group of menswear designers include Bil's a collection of high quality woven shirts based on a concept of the "White Shirt Culture"; Damat -- Tween, a contemporary collection of suits and sportswear for self confident, young, active men who want to express their individualism; Lenny Turk, a collection for men who are not afraid to be sexy and extravagant, includes hand painted leather shirts, pony skin jackets and deconstructed jeans; Hecin, pullovers; Murat (Sorrento), exclusive shirt collection; Sarar, a sleek collection of suits, shirts, trousers, coats and jackets.
