EXECUTIVE APPOINTED TO FRISBY BOARD

FRISBY TECHNOLOGIES INC. (NASDAQ – FRIZ), the developer of patented COMFORTEMP® materials, the leading brand of dynamic climate control materials, today announced that Carlo Tunioli has been appointed to the board of directors of Frisby Technologies. Tunioli, president of Fin.part USA since September 2001, has overall responsibility for the marketing and operations of all of Fin. Part’s brands in North America, including Cerruti, Cerruti Jeans, Henry Cottons, Maska and Moncler. Fin.part USA is a sister company to Finpart International S.A., ("Finpart") a significant stockholder of Frisby Technologies.

Tunioli has been in the apparel business for more than 20 years. From 1989 to 2001, Tunioli was an executive with Benetton Group S.p.A., and most recently served as executive vice president of Benetton USA. At Benetton, Tunioli was instrumental in turning the United Colors of Benetton, Nordica, Prince, Rollerblade and Killer Loop names into leading consumer brands. Prior to joining Benetton, Tunioli worked for apparel manufacturer Esprit de Corp., one of the world’s hottest apparel labels during the 1980s.

Tunioli replaces Pietro Motta, a director of Frisby since 1997, who resigned from the board. The current board remains at seven members.
