August 18, 2005 (Los Angeles) Designer Steven Shaul and Jelessy hosted a much-anticipated cocktail party last night at Cabana Club to cap off a successful year as part of fashion’s elite. The celebrity hotspot was quickly filled to capacity with influential faces in fashion and entertainment, with celebrities including Efren Ramirez (Napoleon Dynamite), Jose Canseco, Traci Bingham (Baywatch), Bobby Trendy (The Anna Nicole Show), Appolonia, Marcus Schenkenberg, The Bachelor’s Byron and Mary with host Chris Harrison, Michael Copon (One Tree Hill), Mark McGraw, Brody Hutzler (Days of Our Lives), Austen Tate and Maurizio Farhad from Kept.
Invited guests enjoyed warm summer ambiance in the Cabana Club’s outdoor poolside setting. Amazing vertical image projections of Jelessy were on display throughout the night. VIP cabanas were sponsored by POOL tradeshow, The Margarita King, Niki Shadrow Productions, Amazon Watch, Urban Decay, Too Faced, and Article 1. The Margarita King, Who’s Your Daddy, and Smart Water provided refreshing drinks for partygoers. Informal modeling of Jelessy Collection was provided by Ford and Wilhelmina Models. Guests enjoyed complimentary makeovers and product samples from must-have cosmetics lines Too Faced and Urban Decay. Jelessy giftbags were filled with product from selected sponsors and given out at the close of the fun-filled evening.
Sipping on margaritas and listening to DJs spinning the hottest tunes, guests mingled and danced the night away. By the end of the evening, twins Efren and Carlos Ramirez got the crowd energized and the dance party truly started with their wild moves.
