Target Corporation reported that its net retail sales for the four weeks ended May 1, 2004 increased 11.8 percent to $3.542 billion from $3.168 billion for the four-week period ended May 3, 2003. Comparable-store sales increased 4.9 percent from fiscal April 2003.
