Corporation (Korea): The Chunji Sweater Division was initiated as the
foundation of their company in 1955. They have qualified experience
in virtually every kind of sweater manufacturing process that exists and
export their products through well-qualified sales forces to over 50
clients located throughout the U.S.A. and Europe. They
have priced their products from budget costs to the high novelty range in
accordance with the individual needs of each of their clients. They
do this to make their products available to a wide variety of potential
consumers. Up until 1990, their Sweater Division focused mainly on
domestic production in Korea, but they have greatly expanded to other
parts of the world to make up for increasing sales order volume. These
continuous efforts have made it possible for them to achieve their goal of
providing their clients with high-quality products on a timely basis since
their beginning in 1955. To match their clients' needs, they have
made steady efforts and many investments so far. For example,
they have diversified their product variety and have increased their
production area to include the Philippines, Indonesia and Bangladesh.
In addition, to open more windows for their production capabilities and
potential in Korea and these three countries, they have set up knitting
and all other procedures inside. This is true especially for their
factory in Bangladesh where they have organized a vertical production
system from the spinning and the dyeing of a very conditioned type of yarn
to the manufacturing of the sweater. With these facilities, they are
capable of producing sweaters approximately 20 million pieces per annum.
