The Clun Forest originated in England and is considered a hardy, moderately prolific, easy-care breed of medium size. They are brown/black-faced with no wool on the face and legs and produce a medium-wool fleece. They are good mothers and milkers and are prolific. They are also good foragers and known for their longevity.
