Machines from as course as 7 gauge to as fine as 28guage
In both single and double jersey knits. from plain fabrics to intricate designs in jacquard and many other fancy effects, using polyester, nylons,acylic  viscose and cotton and many other various blends. All produced using computer monitored systems to ensure consistent quality.

We can even produce a knitwear effect continuous fabric using our 7 and 9 gauge circular knitting machines, or if its fashion prints you’re looking for we’ll work with our local printers to produce the right blend of eye catching detail and colour. With flocking, glitter, lurex or other enhancements.
Quality

All fabrics are dyed in the U.K to exacting European standards. Our expert techn will lab dip and precisely match your sample shades – including difficult khakis, brown, reds etc.we’ll provide you with test reports to any store standard to make sure that you’re entirely satisfied that you have a perfect match before production starts, and during production, we’ll systematically carry out regular inspections to ensure colour continuity from batch to batch. We’ll also fully code the dye blend for future reference. You’re assurance that even long runs of 100,000 meters and any repeat orders will be manufactured within shade tolerances throughout.
Service 

Service is another key ingredient in the relationship with our customers. Orders may be small or large and in either case the response will be one of speed and efficiency.

As well as being able to match your own design sample we invest continually in new designs. We offer you over 5,000 existing lines, all with full specification documentation and sample swatches. An incredible choice that few other suppliers can match!
Products

Shahtex supply both “greige state fabrics to merchants and converters who further process the fabric to there own colour and print. We also supply the garment maker’s fabric to there specification by the metre. Our versatile knitting machines offer the ultimate in design flexibility, capable of high production runs. Shahtex U.K plant has a production capability of 55 tonnes a week and our Indian plant has 35tonnes a week Our vast plant is also able to accommodate simultaneous specialist fabric, small runs and rapid design changes.
