Tokyo Fashion Week  Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo (JFW), held for the first time autumn 2005.  The event will mature and become a fixture on the international fashion calendar.  The schedule will be even more compact than previous season's event and while creating a system suited to press and buyers, the weekend will feature events in which consumers can participate, affirming the fact that JFW is about more than just trade.  Through events including an exhibition of Japan’s highly valued textile's industry, JFW will show the strength of Japan's fashion sector, which is born of the amalgamation of  "creation", "artisanship", and "business."
