Our client is a public company with national recognition. They are seeking a Line Builder for design and product development of its women's private label division. The primary role of the position is to interpret and develop the footwear from sketch to sample. Overseas travel to Europe and China will be required. This is a great opportunity for the qualified candidate to become an integral part of a sensational company! Salary: $80-100K
QUALIFICATIONS *Must have 3+ years experience in footwear line building/design. *Ability to evaluate prototypes and make the necessary corrections. *Sketching is a must. *Must demonstrate a strong creative ability with a fresh, innovative perspective. *Spirited, energetic and highly motivated team player. *Possess a thorough understanding and awareness of the fashion industry and trends. *Familiarity with Excel, Lotus notes, and Adobe PhotoShop/Illustrator is preferred. *Relocation to the Corporate office is required. Relocation package will be provided.
