This company needs a talented Business Analyst to assume responsibility for the inventory levels and production requirements for their diverse customer base. This fast-paced Apparel and Accessory manufacturer has succeeded in large part due to their superior execution of the customer service component. The role the Business Analyst plays is integral to this success; he/she must establish controls and procedures that result in accurate fulfillment levels while keeping inventory levels in check.
Daily responsibilities will include: Production plan creation based on customer historical trends, sales rep input and direct customer contact. Communicate product requirements to production and then monitor inventory status versus plan. Keep customers abreast of order status to maximize fill rates and manage customer expectations. Identify slow-moving items and create, with sales management input, liquidation plans. Salary: $70-90K++
QUALIFICATIONS: Bacheslor's in Business, Finance, or Accounting required. 3-5 years experience in Production Planning/Inventory Management for high S.K.U. product collections. Ability to effectively gather and utilize data from multiple sources. Must have an understanding of Retailer inventory analysis methods, concepts, and strategies. Experience needed in the implementation and monitoring of cycle count programs. Must have excellent verbal skills in order to interact effectively with customers and internal staff. Prior experience dealing with apparel, accessories, or the sporting goods industry is a plus.
This position reports to the VP of Sourcing and Production and the bonus for this role is based on the same deliverables as those of the VP. This is a vitally important position for this growing company, a position that will receive full support from all departments!
