It’s Time to “Think Pink” and support City of Hope with The Art Institute of California – San Diego!

Attend our “Think Pink” workshop and learn various skills in sewing, patternmaking, and fashion marketing, and get a behind-the-scenes look into the classroom experience. Following the workshop, you’re invited to attend a fabulous fashion show supporting City of Hope Breast Cancer Awareness “Bras for a Cause” benefiting breast cancer treatment, research and educational programs at City of Hope. The show will feature one-of-a-kind designer bras created by our very own students, faculty, and staff reflecting upon their survivor stories of inspiration and remembrance. You’ll also have the opportunity to join Team Art Institute at the Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer.

For high school seniors scheduled to graduate in 2009, you will have an opportunity to put your best fashion forward and learn how to enter your designs in The Art Institutes 2009 Passion For Fashion Scholarship Competition. The competition grand prize winner will be awarded a full-tuition scholarship to one of The Art Institute schools, a “meet-and-greet” at Seventeen Magazine, a VIP trip to New York’s Fashion Week 2009, and lunch with a Seventeen Magazine Style Pro! Deadline for entries is November 21, 2008.

Hors d’oeuvres and mocktails will be served. No charge for workshop or fashion show.
