Shoes have always been a favorite fashion accessory and a key area of weakness for many fashionistas. The hit television show Sex and the City placed lots of emphasis on the shoe category, particularly its star character Carrie Bradshaw who is known for her shoe addiction. In one episode Carrie actually calculates the amount of money she spent on her chic designer shoe collection and realizes that she could have wisely invested that money in purchasing a NYC apartment.
