THINK: Your pool and beachside wardrobe for the summer of 2007.

WHAT IT IS: A collection of chic, of-the-moment swimwear from Lisa Curran. Your wardrobe and accessories are inspired by the runway, so why should your swimwear be any different? Fortunately, as she does each season, Lisa Curran has designed a collection of swimsuits in silhouettes that not only flatter every woman's body but reflect what's hot in fashion right now. So let's dive right in:

The Trend: Heavy Metal

Channel your inner rock star with these sexy styles that are full of flirtatious attitude. Styles include:

  • Halters, Bandeau Tiebacks, Tankinis and One-Pieces (in Black, Olive, Pearl, Cocoa or Slate) all pieced together with bright, bold gold rings
  • Halter Tops with Scoop Bottoms held together with slinky, provocative gold chains
  • A Shirred Tri Top with a Tie Side Bottom or a Bandeau Tie Back with a Ring Bottom in spotlight-worthy Bronze or Silver Metallic Squares (Black and White Hipster Dresses are available as Cover-Ups, too)

The Trend: Polka Time

Influenced by the 1940s and 1950s, these styles are perfect for the playful girl next door. Styles include:

  • The Yellow Polka Dot Bikini
reinvented. Available as a Bandeau Top/Shirred Hipster Brief combination or an Adjustable Halter/Tie Side Hipster
  • Twisted Bandeau Tops with either Scoop or Tie Side Bottoms in Pearl Dot or Black Dot
  • Retro Pink Dot styles (atop a black background) in Tankini, One Piece and a Shirred Top/Scoop Bottom combination

The Trend: Painted Flowers

Floral prints are always popular, but this season they take on a new twist as they are seemingly
traced
lightly over the suit designs.

Styles include:

  • A One Piece in Black with a White Painted Flower
  • A Halter Top/String Tie Bottom combination in Black with a White Painted Flower upon the Top

WHAT THEY COST: Between $140-$170

WHERE TO FIND THEM: Barneys, Saks Fifth Avenue, specialty boutiques and via www.lisacurranswim.com
