WGSN (Worth Global Style Network) Expands U.S. Sales Team

Leading Online Fashion and Design Resource Names Stephen Morgan President of Americas Division

WGSN, the leading global online service providing research, trend analysis and news to the fashion, design and style industries, has increased its sales operations located in the United States and appointed key management and sales executives in both its New York and Los Angeles offices.  Stephen Morgan, most recently international sales director in WGSn's London headquarters, has been named president of the Americas.  He will have principal operating responsibility for WGSN throughout the United States, Canada, and Central and South America and be located in WGSn's New York office.  The announcement was made today by Steve Newbold, managing director, WGSN.

Under Stephen's direction, WGSN has experienced tremendous growth throughout Europe and Asia, said Newbold  Stephen's keen understanding of the global fashion industry and his unmatched achievements at WGSN make him the ideal person to oversee our operations in the Americas.

Today, WGSN has 2,200 subscribers worldwide retailers, manufacturers, designers and style makers -- who utilize the detailed current and archived information that WGSN provides to stay ahead of the trends in the global fashion and design industry.  Stephen's appointment underscores our commitment to the expansion of our business throughout the Americas where we have already seen record growth in the past year, said Newbold.

In addition to Morgan's appointment, Robert Guadalupe has been promoted to vice president, east coast sales, a newly created position in the New York office.  Guadalupe will manage the New York sales team and oversee new business development in the eastern U.S.  Guadalupe joined WGSN in 2001 as sales executive and spearheaded WGSn's expansion throughout Central and South America.  Also in the New York office, Nikki Kolstein has been promoted to head of east coast account management.  Kolstein will oversee all subscriber accounts and manage the New York account management team.  

In Los Angeles, Nick Wright has been named vice president, west coast sales.  He moves to Los Angeles from WGSn's London headquarters where he was most recently head of U.K. sales.  Wright joined WGSN in 2001 as sales manager.  In addition, Matt Stegman has been named regional director of sales for the northwest region of the U.S. and will be located in San Francisco.  Stegman comes to WGSN from FHM where he was part of the magazine's launch team and most recently held the title of northwest and technology advertising director.
