As the year develops, the trousers leg for jeans is
noticeable. If you go on a popular high street, you might agree that
jeans are everywhere but look again and maybe you will see that the
trousers leg is beginning to be seen. Sometimes there is flair at the
cuff but a lot of the times the jeans hang like trousers. It's
interesting to see the skinny jean going out of fashion and the trousers
look moving in.
There was something military,
tight and terribly fitted about skinny jeans as well as other skinny
pants but now there is something classic and restrained about the
trousers look. Maybe the trousers leg is a part of shift away from the
military look of former years into something more chic and feminine. Yes
the trousers leg is certainly popular. The trouser leg, with its classic
look, is a part of a drive to get back to something more classic.
The high-waisted look for
trousers may also be an important look this year. The designs for
trousers seem to be moving on from the military look. If the military
look was for skinny fitted trousers or pants, then 2007 tries to move on
and aims to take the military look to its next level and I think that
the high waist for trousers is a possible development on the military
look. You can see some high-waisted trousers on the street now.
The tapered trousers leg is
important. The trousers for 2007 must be structured and if possible
fitted. The look is the classic trousers look, and jeans have moved on
from the skinny look to a more trousers look. 2007 for trousers would
aim for a certain structured look, with perhaps a tapered leg with good
corresponding fit for waist and hip.
Back to the high waist! Yes
high-waisted trousers seem to be in fashion. The fit is important and
now with high-waisted trousers, the fit
is gone to the waist area. For
the trousers look, there may be some flair at the cuff or maybe some
tapering, but there is fit at the waist and hip areas. Fit is certainly
still important, and fit verging on clinginess is seen in the popularity
of leggings and then the fit verging on classic is seen in the trousers
look, high-waisted or otherwise.
It is apparent that leggings
are popular, capri leggings as well as other leggings. There are some
capri leggings which have a trousers look rather than the tight typical
fit of leggings. In summer, maybe there will a return to the loose
trousers fit of capri pants. Maybe you will be wanting to find
trousers/pants with color and prints too. Capri pants are stylish and
maybe cargo pants too for the summer! Sometimes knee-length cargo pants
can look masculine and khaki-like and jungle but they can be stylish too
and high waisted.
And cargo pants for the
summer! They can definitely be stylized. There is certainly no fit at
the crotch for them. And that brings one back to the classic look. Can
one develop a classic look for cargo pants , with a tight crotch and
high waist but yet still having a trousers look? No, probably not but
what about a woman's trousers with this look? Capris pants on the other
hand have a classic look, and with their sometimes tapering effect, they
may be popular for the summer. Yes it t is possible that capri pants may
be back in fashion. Trousers with a tight crotch and high waists are
stylish but capris too with their looseness as well as corollary pocket
and fabric detail may be back in style.
It is important too that this
year the women's trousers is accented perhaps, with femininity and a
certain floralness and Capri pants fit into this area! There are stove
pants too, trimmed to high ankle, with their colors and prints. They may
be popular too. This season of colors and prints may be the time for
stovepipes as well as Capri pants.
