The current recession is definitely difficult for some fashion companies but Nolcha is making opportunities out of the economy by opening Nolcha Retail Space in prime Manhattan shopping area, Nolita, stocking emerging and independent fashion brands only.

Nolcha is embracing its mission to bring business to the forefront of the independent fashion market by expanding its current resources that include Nolcha.com
an online portal delivering daily business articles, news, global event coverage and insider interviews pertaining to fashion; New York and London Fashion Week runway, exhibition and networking events; Independent Retail Week
an initiative to increase sales and brand awareness for independent fashion stores in NYC, London and Chicago.

The recession has become so dramatic because the media makes it dramatic.  What ever happened to a happy story? The store will be a metropolitan home for independent designers in one of the world's leading fashion capitals and will be utilizing out-of-the-box marketing and sales strategies to increase purchases and brand awareness.
