Kellwood Named New Womenswear Pres.

Kellwood Company announced today that Stephen L. Ruzow has been named president womenswear for Kellwood.

A 30-year veteran of the fashion industry, Ruzow has a strong background in fashion marketing and brand development. Most recently he was chairman and chief executive officer of Pegasus Apparel Group Incorporated, a company he founded in March 2000, to focus on the redevelopment of undervalued fashion brands. Prior to Pegasus, which is now the Leiber Group, Ruzow served as division president at Warnaco in two separate stints, from 1998 to 1999 for its Underwear and Men's Accessories business, and from 1986 to 1989 as president and CEO of its Activewear division. From 1989 to 1998, he was president and COO of Donna Karan International where he grew the business from $100 million to over $700 million.
