Apparel CAD supplier to offer 3D motion simulator

From: ASAP

TUKATECH announces the launch of the most innovative CAD product that will help reduce sample approvals time with ability to create a virtual garment from a two-dimensional pattern over a 3-D body image with life like movement capabilities. It is designed to reduce product approval and production time by allowing the entire supply chain to visualize products via the Internet and share input simultaneously.

3D body scanned data can be bone structured enabling the model to move like HUMANS. It allows the designers to visualize effects of fit and fabric behavior. Real-time movements can simulate a fit-session by having the electronic model walk, turn, bend, stretch or even flip and do summersaults if you are making athletic apparel, while evaluating the fit of 2D flat patterns and fabric being used.

e-fit simulator by TUKA at $4,500 or 3D Motion simulator at $7,500 is the brain child of TUKA of TUKATECH, a Physicist, Lawyer, Attorney-at-Law, Barrister, Solicitor, Advocate and now an innovator.

“I am so glad that Iva (her real name) joined us in 2000 and took charge of product development. Her scientific background and passion for Physics gave us the ability to offer a ROCKET SCIENCE-like solution for the Apparel Development Process” Say Ram Sareen, founder and CEO of TUKAgroup.

“It is pure Physics…the simulation of fabrics colliding with the human body and real-time effects of each movement is so realistic that these models can be used for virtual FASHION SHOWS”, says Iva Sareen.

As an add-on application to TUKAcad.NET Suite, e-fit simulator has the ability to work with all industry standard CAD systems and can be implemented once you have 2D flat patterns, image and properties of fabric and a 3D scanned or morphed model. The same data is used to make cloned models as TUKAforms for real production in factories. For the first time, a complete solution is available from TUKATECH where fitting a garment on the human Fit-Model, 3D virtual Model and a TUKAform will give EXACT RESULTS, every time.
