Gadzooks, Inc. (Nasdaq: GADZ) announced today that Sherry Andrus has joined the Company as General Merchandise Manager. Andrus, who carries with her over twenty-six years of experience in the fashion retail industry, most recently held the position of Divisional Merchandise Manager for May Department Stores. Prior to her nine-year tenure with May, Mrs. Andrus held various positions in the fashion retail industry for several companies, including Macy's West, Saks Fifth Avenue and Federated Department Stores. Andrus graduated from Ohio State University and holds a bachelor's degree in Science and Textiles. "We are looking forward to the positive contributions that Sherry will undoubtedly bring to the Gadzooks team," stated Paula Masters, President and Chief Merchandising Officer. "Sherry brings with her a great deal of experience in the junior market, as well as exceptional leadership and management skills.
