Here are a few tips regarding the real animals:

Cheetah: The cheetah is a felid with several distinctive features – a slender body, deep chest, spotted pelage, a small rounded head, black tear-like streaks on the face, long thin legs and a long spotted tail.  Basically yellowish tan or rufous to greyish white, the coat of the cheetah is uniformly covered with nearly 2,000 solid black spots. The upper parts are in stark contrast to the underbelly, which is completely white.  Each spot measures nearly 3.2–5.1 centimeters (1.3–2.0 in) across.  Every cheetah has a unique pattern of spots on its coat; hence, this serves as a distinct identity for each individual.

Leopard - Basically pale yellow to yellowish brown or golden (except for the melanistic forms), the coat is spotted and rosetted; spots fade toward the white underbelly and the insides and lower parts of the legs. Rosettes are most prominent on the back, flanks and hindquarters.  The pattern of the rosettes is unique to each individual.  The leopard is often confused with the cheetah; however, the cheetah is marked with small round spots instead of the larger rosettes.  The tiger is one of only a few striped cat species; it is not known why spotted patterns and rosettes are the more common camouflage pattern among felids.

Tiger is the largest cat species, most recognizable for their pattern of dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with a lighter underside.  Coloration varies between shades of orange and brown with white ventral areas and distinctive vertical black stripes, whose patterns are unique to each individual.

Zebras are several species of African equids (horse family) united by their distinctive black and white striped coats. Their stripes come in different patterns, unique to each individual.  The unique stripes of zebras make them one of the animals most familiar to people.
