Vancouver's first annual Health and Beauty Expo announces the addition of a premiere fashion show and a beauty competition to an event already jam packed with excitement and activities.
The fashion show will present both local and international talent showcasing upcoming trends in hair, jewelry, makeup, footwear and apparel from around the world. The fashion showcase will run each day of the event and the beauty competition will run on the Saturday. Both shows will take place at the main stage of the expo.
In addition, the Health and Beauty Expo presents the Miss Vancouver 2009 pageant, the first beauty pageant in Vancouver open to all ethnicities. Women, ages 18-28 are invited to register to compete for the title and a wide array of exciting prizes and opportunities. Competitors must be unmarried, without children and be a resident of British Columbia. The deadline for registration is April 21st, 2009.
The winner of Miss Vancouver 2009 will not only walk away with the prestigious title but also win a cash prize of five thousand dollars, the opportunity to be selected for the Miss Canada 2010 competition and will be exposed to the top fashion media in Canada. Furthermore, the winner will appear on the cover of the Health and Beauty Expo magazine in 2010. Finalists will receive a myriad of prizes provided by local health, cosmetic and beauty companies.
