Studio NYC Shoes announces the opening of its third location in Manhattan's Murray Hill neighborhood. The shop, at 432 Third Avenue (at 30th Street), opened its doors during the first week of March 2007 and is celebrating with a grand opening party on April 19th, 2007 from 6-10pm. The event will be a VIP Spring Shoe Shopping Party in perfect time to usher in the warm weather.  Carrying brands such as Seychelles, Jeffrey Campbell, Oh Deer!, Frye, Report, and many more, Studio NYC Shoes is committed to creating a personalized, neighborhood feel in each store. The Murray Hill location was chosen because of the unique vibe that combines youthful energy with classic New York City shopping and dining.

Co-owner Dafna Nadulek runs her stores for the people, featuring trendy and of-the-moment brands at accessible price points for New York City women who love fashion but don't want to spend a fortune each season just to keep up. Known for its wide selection both in styling and in price point, Studio NYC has become a mecca for women ages 16-45 who know they will walk in and find something they love at a price that's easy. Dafna is passionate about her business and it resonates in the energetic but comfortable feel of the stores.  After all this time I still love shoes, I go to trade shows and I get excited to see new things. I was 9 months pregnant in my stores saying,  Can I grab you some shoes? The personal touch is very important to me, says Dafna.

A Long Island native, Dafna earned a degree from Baruch College in International Business and Marketing. She lived in Israel for four years until returning to New York after September 11th to be with her family. In 2004, Dafna formed a partnership with her brother, Asi Agajan, and took over their family business, Studio 501 Shoes (501 Lexington Avenue @47th Street). It had been their father's store for 30 years, and Dafna and Asi got involved to bring a younger, hipper feel to the store. In the summer of 2005 they opened Studio NYC Shoes on the Upper East Side of Manhattan (1126 Third Ave (@ 66th Street).  The Murray Hill location is third in the family of stores.

In November of 2006 Dafna started a new venture, co-founding Shewlery, an accessories collection. Shewlery is a complete line of jewelry designed explicitly for shoes, ranging from boot chains to shoe charms (Shewels) and Shoe Tattoos. The collection sells at Studio NYC Shoes as well as at www.shewlery.com and retails from $20.00.

Dafna's outlook for her shoe stores includes expanding to the web with an online store that maintains the feel of a neighborhood boutique. She will offer her famous selection of fun, affordable and trendy shoes. In-store she plans to use the residential locale of her new store to reach out to the neighborhood in new ways with events and special promotions, the first of which being April 19th's grand opening party.
