The cotton and bamboo fibers used are certified organic using no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Each piece is colored with low impact reactive dyes that use less energy, less chemicals and produce less waste than natural or vegetable dyes.

Designer Kate DArcy's mission is to offer a collection of knits using eco-friendly practices that is still at the forefront of contemporary trends so that the everyday consumer can become socially responsible. Kate D'Arcy has a background in communications which led her to various professional endeavors in personal shopping, styling and special events. As a personal shopper and a devotee to basic fits that you can mix and match and accessorize, she found herself looking at various women's closets and seeing that they were always lacking just a couple basic pieces that would help everything else make sense. Growing up in a local family-run business, Kate firmly believes in doing business in your backyard to help the community thrive and grow.
