April 2006 : they are a
leading provider of e-commerce solutions that enable retailers, branded
manufacturers, entertainment companies and professional sports organizations
to operate e-commerce businesses. They began their e-commerce business in
1999 and initially targeted the sporting goods category. Since fiscal 2001,
they have expanded their reach and now offer their solution to companies in
five additional categories: apparel, beauty, consumer electronics,
entertainment and home. They provide solutions for their partners
through their integrated e-commerce platform, which is comprised of three
components: core technology, a supporting infrastructure and partner
services. They employ approximately 1,200 people, the majority of which are
based at their headquarters in King of Prussia, Pa., their two fulfillment
centers in Kentucky and their customer contact center in Melbourne, Fla. GSI
