manufactures and distributes thread and specialty engineered yarns on a
global basis. They own American & Efird, Inc. (A&E). A&E is a
manufacturer and distributor of thread and specialty engineered yarns,
produced from natural and synthetic fibers, for worldwide industrial and
consumer markets. It sells primarily industrial sewing thread, embroidery
