It represents the online store and official website of Yavoy, Inc., a Miami-based designer, wholesaler and retailer of guayaberas that was founded by Rene La Villa in 1992. A native of Cuba, La Villa is a lifelong aficionado of the traditional Cuban garment, and he first began designing and wholesaling guayaberas with another firm in 1978. With Yavoy, he aspired to make guayaberas of the finest material and craftsmanship available in the U.S. Today the company maintains three stores in the greater Miami area, including their flagship store alongside the historic Miracle Theater on Miracle Mile, one of South Florida's most renowned shopping destinations. The stores offer all of their various lines of guayaberas, which range from $22 to custom tailored garments of the finest linen for $300, as well as a variety of tropical chic attire and accessories. They also remain true to their roots as a major designer and wholesaler of guayaberas. They design and coordinate the manufacturing and production of all of their various brands, which they wholesale to retailers throughout the U.S. and Caribbean. They also offer custom garments with company logos or other imprints for use as corporate gifts or employee uniforms for restaurants, hotels, medical clinics and others.
