THE WALK: An Extraordinary Evening of Fashion + Art
Honoring Maria Pinto, SAIC Alumna (BFA 1990) with the Legend of Fashion Award Cocktails and Dinner in the Sage Studios for Fashion Design at 5:30 p.m. Cocktails and an epicurean stroll await you in the Sage Studios amidst an inspirational exhibition of garments and accessories. Truly immerse yourself in the artists studio with this unique behind the scenes access. Celebrate as we honor Maria Pinto with the Legend of Fashion Award. Fashion Show at 7:00 p.m. Walk "The Walk" to the Sullivan Galleries, which are installed with the School's Master of Fine Arts exhibition graduate exhibition. This avant-garde setting is the backdrop for the professional fashion show, which features garments designed by students and worn by professional models. Meet the Designers and desert at 8:00 p.m. Meet the student designers with their models by their side, while enjoying desserts and coffee. Enjoy the MFA show and consider your next art purchase from a talented student who is about to graduate from the School's world-renowned MFA program. Work includes painting, drawing, video and much more. Cocktail Attire and LBD's. Valet Parking Available TICKETS start at $500 Proceeds from the event will support student scholarships and the Department of Fashion Design.
