QR Codes For the Fashion Industry - Terms of Interest to the Fashion Industry

Before we go to far into explaining the benefits of QR codes for the fashion industry, let's first figure out what the meaning of "QR Codes". So, what is a QR code?

According to the Denso Wave official website (November 2011), "The QR code was a kind of two dimensional symbology, and the DENSO WAVE (established under the name of DENSO) developed with a main objective of "Code read easily for the reader" in 1994. The QR code is that carry meaningful information in the vertical direction as well as the horizontal, hence the two-dimensional term. By carrying information in both directions, QR code can carry up to several hundred times the amount of data carried by an ordinary bar codes."

It was designed to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed."

QR Codes are a rather interesting technology that can be used by the fashion industry in many ways. These codes can be utilized on packaging such as gift boxes, shelf trays, etc. They can also be easily utilized on hangtags and price tickets.

In addition to being used on apparel and accessory packaging and trims, the QR codes can actually be used directly on certain types of clothing. For example, QR codes can be printed and read properly from t-shirts and sweatshirts.
