The questions you ask a hiring manager will be depend on where you are in the interview process. During the initial interview, it is probably best to avoid asking questions relating to vacation, holidays or bonuses. If the company is interested in you, they will let you know what the benefits are. However, most interviewers will ask for questions at the end and this is when you can really shine. If you're smart, you've done your homework by researching the company and it's product line. You have also paid close attention to what has been said during the interview. This allows you to ask intelligent questions about what has been discussed. Some of these might relate to the industry, new product lines, or even something simple like whether the company makes a practice of promoting within. It's also reasonable to ask how long the interview process will take and when they plan to make a decision. Finally, don't forget to take the interviewer's business card. It's important to write a note expressing thanks for the interview!
