Being a Canadian myself, I felt I should reflect on a trend that has risen in the past couple of days to ultimate highs. As the Olympics continues to be a very exciting event for people around the world, in Canada it created a frenzy of consumers searching for everything and anything they could wear to show their pride and support. Line-ups stretched, for what seem to be eternity at Roots stores all over Canada. Roots designed the uniforms for the Canadian and the United States Olympic teams and are very well known for their patriotic outfits and true Canadian spirit. Anything that showed patriotism in any way ranging from flags to hats to entire red and white outfits from head to toe (including the face) were the must have looks this week.
