Gadzooks, Inc. announced that sales for the five weeks of fiscal June ended July 6, 2002 increased 11.2 percent to $29.7 million from $26.7 million for fiscal June 2001. Comparable store sales increased 1.4 percent for the month, compared to an 8.8 percent decline for fiscal June of 2001.
