New York, NY: INTIMA America is pleased to announce the participation of industry executive Donna Wolff in the upcoming August show. Ms. Wolff, the Divisional Merchandise Manager of Intimate Apparel and Hosiery of Bloomingdale’s, will present a seminar entitled “ New State of Business: Servicing the Customer” at the August edition of INTIMA America. Ms. Wolff’s seminar will offer a wealth of information and is expected to create excitement among attendees. It will be held on Monday, August 1 st on the show’s opening day.

This August, The Global Purchasing Group will return to INTIMA America to offer attendees the opportunity to gain practical business information. Its director, Mercedes Gonzalez, will lead a seminar presentation on “Creating the Ultimate Sales Team” on Tuesday. Training techniques will be offered to assist companies in educating staff on how to give excellent customer service through product and industry knowledge. Rita Nakouzi from renowned trend office Promostyl will present the always popular and informative seminar on “ Lingerie and Swimwear Trends Spring/Summer 2005” on Monday. Other scheduled speakers include:

Silvia Harven, Vice President of Sara Lee Branded Apparel, discusses “The Passion and Style of the Ethnic Consumer”, scheduled for Monday.

Kim Rawlings, Editor of Contours Magazine, tackles the issue of “Trade Shows, Trade Media and PR - How to use as a tool for buying” on Monday.

Steve Chernoff, Director of Rago Shapewear, addresses “The Art of Shapewear” on Tuesday.

Eric Hertz, Director of Executive Studies, Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), points out “The Value of Executive Education” on Tuesday. Joining the established brands represented at INTIMA America, over 25 first-time exhibitors will be showcasing their latest collections to the buyers and press at the August edition of INTIMA America. The high-end brand Coemi from Poland will feature luxurious, stylish European sleepwear with beautiful lace and fabric, designed with femininity and sophistication. The French company Le Bourget will present their popular brand of hosiery as well as their new line of lingerie designed by Vanina Vesperini. Tagliola House will be introducing a line of beautiful Italian lingerie named MamaNonMama. Hot new Australian designer Nicky Adamo will unveil her Julianne collection of boudoir-inspired lingerie, sleepwear and loungewear with intricate lace details. Focusing on quality and comfort, Wicking J. Sleepwear uses a “wicking fabric” that keeps the body cool on hot nights and warm on chilly evenings. International manufacturer participation is strong as exhibited by the show’s Italian contingent. The Italian section of the show will introduce “Made in Italy” with lace, textiles, trim and hosiery by Italian companies, including Elli Stockings & Tights, Eusebio Spa, Much More SRL, Omniapiega s.r.l, Ricamificio Marcato Valter and Siva SPA.

INTIMA America is recognized as being inclusive to all segments of the industry. Suppliers showing bra cups, elastic, textiles and trim will also be featured at the August show.
