It’s the busiest time of year for us fashion folk. We spend months getting ready for the holidays and when they finally come, it seems to be over with the blink of an eye. Finding that perfect gift for that special someone or the making the many required appearances at social functions for work, family and friends can be exhausting.

Finding the right thing to wear to these special occasions can be just as nerve racking. This years #1 Christmas fashion trend seemed to be, once again, the little black dress. Retail stores and holiday celebrations were loaded with black dresses in all fabrics from crushed velvet, to plain polyester, to the sheerest rayon you can get away with without showing every inch of flesh on your body. Year after year the black dress never seems to fade. Every woman should have one. It’s the ultimate stress free, fail proof outfit. Dress it up, dress it down, its perfect for all occasions. Having one classic black dress in your closet is a must. It allows for the much needed, freed up time that you would have been spent searching for the perfect outfit to wear to that office party you’ve been dreading, and leaves room for more important things at Christmas time, like friends and family.
