A bought review is the system where the creator (usually a company) of a new product pays a reviewer to review the companies new product. Bought reviews unfortunately can be biased due to the financial relationship the reviewer has with the makers of the product. This type of review is not always bias, but their is more risk for bias then with consumer generated reviews.
