Kevan Hall
: Detroit-born Kevan Hall's fashion creativity
emerged early. By the age of seven, he knew he wanted to be a fashion
designer. After attending Cass Technical High School in Detroit, where
he studied fashion design, he won first place as "Designer of Tomorrow" - a
scholarship sponsored by the Los Angeles-based Fashion Institute of Design
and Merchandising. While studying in California, he made a
vision-enhancing trip to Europe, where at the houses of Cardin, Dior and
most notably, Givenchy his lifelong love of luxury and haute couture was
once again sparked. Upon graduation from the Fashion Institute, he
received the Peacock Award for Pink Elf : Kaushie Adiseshan is the Founder and Designer of Pink Elf, a company that creates contemporary women’s apparel and accessories. Her creations combine avant-garde artistry, traditional workmanship, and carefully selected fabrics of the highest quality from around the world. Pink Elf is based in Palo Alto, California. Kaushie’s designs are inspired by the crowded and colorful streets of Mumbai, the sophisticated bustle of New York and the serene beauty of San Francisco. They blend the languid elegance of Hollywood’s Film Noir with the energy and vitality of Bollywood dance numbers.
Talina Hermann launched her label in late 2007. She quickly became LA's best kept secret for It girls and young Hollywood (the Hilton sisters are among her fans). Her clothes are made for the confident, self-assured woman, and consist of sensual and sophisticated dresses and separates in lush fabrics like silk, silk jersey, feather light wool, cashmere blend with decadent quality and fun details. |
