HLC : Founded in 1990
by Scott LaBelle, HLC began business by converting holographic labels
for other commercial and security holographic companies. In 1995, HLC
acquired laser and light tables and began producing 2D, 2D/3D, and 3D
holograms. To streamline their production
they purchased a step and repeat machine in
1999, becoming a fully integrated hologram label manufacturer. In 2000,
HLC became a member of the International Hologram Manufacturers
Association which enables them to register
holograms with the Counterfeiting Intelligence Bureau.
Their business is not limited to holography;
HLC also offers flexographic overprinting. Their
unique in-line system makes it possible to print in register to a
hologram, thus creating a cost efficient process which has resulted in
more affordable holographic labels.
