"It is fascinating
how many designers from quite different cultures have
such a passionate relation to the world of Mozart. And
it is interesting that this topic fascinates and
inspires over all nations, cultures and religions. For
us the high quality of the submitted works and primarily
the individual and culturally very different entries to
Mozart's world were an indicator for today’s importance
to carry out competitions internationally,"
Dr. Karin Sawetz, publisher fashionoffice.org.
The previous winners of the Triumph International
Fashion Award 2005 were Rafael Gomes from Brazil and
2004 Mary Jo Diehl from New York.
The winner of the Triumph International Fashion Award is
carried out in three steps of selection: at first, the
7 Selected
are evaluated among all works by an expert jury. Then
the readers of the fashion magazine fahionoffice.org
choose in a public online voting the
3 Finalists.
This year 9,563 registered voices have voted for their
favourite designer. (A special technical system has
restricted the votes to one voice per computer.) In the
3rd round of the election an international jury of
experts evaluates the 3 different designs of each of the
3 Finalists to determine the winner of the Triumph
International Fashion Award.
Following 3 designers are the Finalists of the Triumph
International Fashion Award 2006:
• the Austrian-American
Kirsten Hiller,
• the Chilean
Paz Soto Salinas, who lives in Germany and
• the Israeli with Ukrainian origin
Tatiana Pogrebnyak.
The international expert jury evaluated the works of
these three designers on the topic "Dress
up for Mozart – Rock up Rococo!"
and selected the triumphant winner 2006.
