With couture still swinging from the racks of New York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the fashion-savvy are left wondering which runway designs will become the new trends for the season and which will fizzle into mere creativity.

Merrill Greene, Creative Director for Stylesight, a premiere style information service, has been a leading catalyst and visionary in trend forecasting for the fashion and design industries for more than thirty years. She first started her career as Fabrics Editor of Harpers Bazaar, and later in her career, as Design Director for Brand Concepts at Liz Claiborne, she built and led the company's corporate concepts. Stylesight has long offered designers and merchandisers colorful insight into product development, seasonal trend directions and inspirational images. This year, Stylesight will be the official trend partner of Material World, the most influential fabric, trim, and full-package sourcing event in the Western Hemisphere.

Merrill will be on hand during the show and available for interviews September 25-27, 2007, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. She will also be leading Stylesight's trend forecast presentation, MegaTrend Fall/Winter 08/09: The Anthropology of the Future, which takes place on September 25 at 11:00 am.
