From June 4 to 8, 2008 the heart of downtown Montreal will beat to the rhythm of the Montreal Fashion and Design Festival. The largest outdoor event of its kind in North America, the Festival will take over McGill College Avenue between Maisonneuve and Sainte-Catherine, introducing the general public to the latest collections of the most prestigious designer labels and the creative genius of our leading designers. Grandiose, refreshing and decidedly avant-garde, the Montreal Fashion and Design Festival will unfold on two stages, one of which is reserved to the works of up and coming designers. A rich and varied program has been developed to introduce visitors to to the latest trends for summer on the terraces set up for the occasion. During the Festival, McGill College Avenue becomes the venue for happy hours with friends. In an exhilarating, freewheeling ambience, the public will be treated to fabulous fashion shows along with live performances by well-known singers, musicians and DJs.
