WHY IT IS ALWAYS THE PRODUCTION & QUALITY SUFFERS DUE TO INEFFICIENCY
OF NON-PRODUCTION?

For the past 22 years work experience in garments, out of 100% leadtimes from order confirmation to shipment of goods, approximately 30% usually is allocated to production process. But due to inefficiency of getting details related to garment style, specs, late material & sample approvals, late delivery of materials, defective samples / materials, etc. - that 30 days will become 20% to 10%. To catch up the shipment date, the production has to do overtime and sometimes final inspection is done during night / dawn time with a high risk of defective garments. Due to this problem, for the last 5 years I focused on the Manufacturing Operation Management set up ( computerized )that positively improve the reduction of Productivity and Quality Killers - Pro-active approach.
