AnnTaylor Stores Corporation (NYSE: ANN) today announced sales for the four weeks ended December 1, 2001, increased 13.2 percent to $119,255,000 from $105,375,000 for the four weeks ended November 25, 2000. Comparable store sales increased 0.8 percent for the fiscal month compared with a comparable store sales decrease of 2.9 percent for the same four-week period last year. By division, comparable store sales for fiscal November 2001 were down 2.1 percent for the Ann Taylor division and up 9.6 percent for the new concept Ann Taylor Loft division.
