The fair will feature 49 major Turkish textile and fabric manufacturers ranging from denim to sportswear to formal. Several notable exhibitors include Altinyildiz, Bossa, Dynamo, and Yünsa. The Turkish Fashion Fabric Exhibition is a “boutique” show that provides a comfortable environment for corporate exhibitors and buyers to meet face to face.

This will be the seventh New York edition of the show. Each previous exhibition has drawn at least 1,500 buyers from top US and international design companies, including: Calvin Klein, Dana Buchman, Donna Karan, Gap Inc., Paul Stuart, Ralph Lauren, Sean John, SAKS and Tommy Hilfiger. The exhibition will move to London February 15-16, 2005.

The Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters' Associations (ITKIB) is the leading textile industry association in Turkey, bringing together 28,000 manufacturers of textiles, apparel, carpets, leather, leather wear and ready-to-wear garments. ITKIB members are critical partners and sources for key U.S. and European labels, and continue to produce high-quality goods for world markets at competitive prices. ITKIB also strongly supports the development of Turkish brands both home and abroad.

Mr. Ismail Gulle, chairman of ITKIB, stated that “the exhibition has been a successful format for forging alliances with important industry decision makers and expanding Turkish exporters in the U.S. We have created a workable, service oriented environment at the Grand Hyatt, making the buying process as convenient as possible for both customers and exhibitors and look forward to another winning event this January.”
