For Baltex, one of the three largest swimwear manufacturers in the United States, each woman is unique, with her own figure, personality, attitude, and needs. And, each line in the Baltex collection—Mix & Match, Nautical, Silhouette Solution, and Full Figure—speaks to this difference. Why not two? With its highly competitive prices and many styles, Baltex is a treat to be enjoyed without breaking the bank!

“Women’s swimwear tastes and needs have changed a great deal,” states Steven Balit, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Maillot Baltex. “Swimsuits must now be appropriate for a variety of occasions while being comfortable and stylish, too. Our designers have responded to the challenge of meeting these expectations every year for over 20 years, and our 2005 collection is no exception.”

The Baltex 2005 collection includes the following lines:

Mix & Match Designed for young women, this fresh and upbeat Baltex line is dominated by such colors as denim blue, lilac, and pink. Cleavage, halter, triangle, and tankini tops pair with athletic, low-waist, and hot pant bottoms to create a multitude of styles. Solid, floral, and striped pieces coordinate perfectly. This year, ever popular denim is combined with a “foulard” print in vibrant red and orange tones. New Mix & Match additions include the adjustable, side-tie bottom that can be lengthened or shortened to reveal more or less thigh and the athletic bikini bottom that folds into a low-waist. The skirtini also makes a stunning debut, making the pareo an essential part of the swimsuit.

Nautical For Summer 2005, Baltex pushes the limits of its classic Nautical line by adding green and orange to the popular red, white, and blue. Stripes are still featured, but with an updated look. Narrow or wide, they chart the course. Onboard for this year are halter and triangle bras and tankini tops with front tie or lacing paired with athletic, bikini, hot pant, or short skirt bottoms. One-pieces show off their enhanced sex appeal with laced camis and plunging necklines that reveal just enough. A boatload of accessories including dresses, shorts, skirts, capri pants, and long-sleeve sweaters coordinate perfectly with the entire collection.

Silhouette Solution Far from flashy, Silhouette Solution offers mature women suits that are both flattering and elegant. Featuring harmonies in blue, green, red, orange, and brown tones, intense floral prints, and delicate stripes, their designs evoke the heat of the tropics. Bikinis, tankinis, swimkinis, and one-piece styles satisfy women seeking sophistication and comfort. For maximum ease of wear, waistlines are higher and tankinis slightly longer. Tummy control panels, soft cups, and contour bras—available this year with underwires and D cups—accentuate the figure in all the right places!

Full Figure Curvaceous women are in for a treat with a vast selection of suits in stunning colors. Goodbye navy and black! Solid colors, floral, and striped one-piece and tankini styles cover perfectly yet still show off the feminine figure. Tankini-short and tankini–skirt pant pairs are ideal both for outdoor activities and swimming. All styles feature tummy control panels, soft cups, and contour bras, and are available in sizes 16W to 24W.

Over 5,000 retailers, department stores, and specialty boutiques carry the Baltex collection. Suggested retail prices are $50 to $84 for one-piece swimsuits and $25 to $40 for each separate top and bottom item of the Mix & Match two-piece styles. Visit www.baltex.com.
