Julia Shaw has been appointed as Optitex North American Support Manager, working from the New York office. Julia brings to Optitex many years of experience in product support, product training, and sales support of apparel CAD/CAM technologies, previously with Lectra Systems and Microdynamics. In addition, Julia has worked in the industry in the areas of pattern making, product development, and design. At OptiTex USA, Inc., Julia will manage all aspects of product demonstrations, customer trainings, and customer support through the company’s comprehensive new OptiCare support program.
In addition, OptiTex USA, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Farida Abbas as Senior Account Manager, working from the New York office Farida brings to OptiTex USA, Inc. an entrepreneurial enthusiasm for the fashion industry, having founded International Fit, an award-winning business model for providing 3-D virtual fitting technologies to design global/ethnic/urban-inspired styles, which reflect individual bodies, stories and personalities. Farida is conversational in 7 languages, including English, Gujrati, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, Cantonese.
