Nüwa Textiles was founded to provide assistance to North American companies for their Taiwanese parent, Honmyue Enterprise. They are a full-service company, specializing in custom creative weaves in polyester, recycled polyester, nylon and recycled nylon.  They have taken on the additional challenge of reengineering their plants to be as eco-friendly as possible.  In a recent bluesign® assessment they found that they use 100 liters of water per kilogram of fabric dyed, versus the industry best practice standard of 150 liters.

They are constantly looking to make textile production as green as they can, because polyester and nylon will not be replaced in the short term for applications where durability is a concern.  They employ over 1,300 weaving machines, state-of-the-art dyeing facilities and produce over 22 million yards of woven materials monthly.  Fabric quality and eco-friendliness is assured by certifications that include ISO 90001, ISO 14001; bluesign®, and Oeko-Tex®.
